Valery Vaschenko is a master builder in Belarus. He is well known for hand making guitars to customer specs. I purchased this guitar from the original owner. It has never been gigged or travelled outside a smoke free, climate controlled environment.
It is in very good shape, There are only a couple of small marks on the back and some very light finish checking on the back of the headstock. The frets show no visible wear.
Most of Valery's guitars are Les Paul type models. However, this is a one of a kind model more aligned with the PRS Single cut. It features a 1-piece 5A flame Maple top over a Claro Walnut body. It has 1 volume and 2 tone knobs - utilizing push/pull tone pots to switch pickups between series/parallel and in/out phase. As you would expect from a Vaschenko guitar, it sounds and plays great.
