I have very little information about this guitar other than what I can surmise from my own experience and observations. This model does not appear in any catalogs and this is the only one I've ever seen. I believe it was a special order with specs and a finish color that is totally unique.
I believe the model name (LS-JW) refers to Joe Walsh and the color code (OR) refers to Old Red. In the early 80s, Tokai had a model named LS-100 OR that was very similar to this one in specs and color, though the back of that model was finished in a regular translucent finish.
Like the vintage LS-100 OR, this guitar has a one-piece mahogany body with no maple top. It is finished all over in a deep red gloss lacquer finish. The dark rosewood fretboard has some nice figuring in it. The original double cream Tokai pickups are very PAF-sounding to my ears with a lot of clarity.
The guitar is in very good condition with very little wear. The frets look and feel unworn.
The neck is a comfortable '59 shape and size with the following measurements:
Width - 1.71" at the nut, 2.06" at the 12th fret
Depth - 0.91" at the 1st fret, 0.99" at the 12th fret
Weight is 8.7 pounds.
Includes the original Tokai branded case and warrantee card.
