History guitars are built in Japan at the famed Fujigen guitar factory exclusively for the Shimamura music store in Japan. I find History guitars to be of the highest quality and playability.
In 2017, History introduced their "Rugged History" series of guitars. The first run consisted of a telecaster model, a stratocaster model and 2 jazz bass models.
While the guitars themselves are not relic'd in any way, the hardware that was used had some slight aging applied.
This particular model is a tele in the true blackguard tradition, but with modern features. The neck is the selling point with it's fat, soft V carve and modern 9.5" radius fretboard. It is one of the best playing and sounding teles I've come across.
The neck measurements are:
Width - 1.67" at the nut, 2.03" at the 12th fret
Depth - 0.91" at the nut, 0.99" at the 12th fret.
Weight is 7.3 pounds.
It comes with the original History branded hard shell case.
