Crews is one of my favorite Japanese brands. Their guitars are very consistent and built to Custom Shop specifications with superb attention to detail.
This 50th anniversary limited edition (Total of 20) single cut guitar was made for Musicland Key, a large music retailer in Japan. The specs include:
K&T is a high end handwound pickup in Japan started by Jun Takano, the gentleman who designed the famed DryZ pickup for Maxon used in the most expensive Grecos of the day. Weeps are their flagship pickup and is a low output, PAF style with a "tele-on-steroids" snappy tone. A new set of these pickups is priced at $1,000.
The glossy finish is all lacquer.
The neck is chunky and comfortable with a '58 shape. Measurements are:
Weight is 9.4 Pounds
Condition is very good. I can find no visible marks except for a 2 very small marks on the back near the control cavity and 2 small marks on the headstock. Frets show no visible wear.
Includes a Crews branded heavy duty soft shell case with backpack style straps. Also includes the original, unistalled pickguard.
